Dr. Elizabeth Tucker
Dr. Elizabeth Tucker is a Southern California native and attended UCSD where she received her B.S. in Marine Biology. She then spent time in both Santa Barbara and San Diego working in the veterinary field. She graduated from Western University's College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation, she completed a small animal and exotics rotating internship with an emergency and critical care emphasis at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in San Diego. She emphasizes doctor-owner communication and her approach to medicine starts with a fear-free environment for animals.
She currently lives in Santa Barbara with her very vocal cat, Mona. While her approachable exterior welcomes all patients furry, feathery, or scaly, her interests are anything but vanilla; in her spare time, she enjoys backpacking in the wilderness, snorkeling with sharks, and attending hardcore metal concerts.
