Animal/Kennel Attendant needed to provide daily dose of TLC, kennel cleaning and housekeeping for boarding dogs & cats at our pet hospital & pet hotel. Experience with dogs & cats is desired. Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.

Work hours are approximately 7:00-11:30 a.m. Monday - Friday. Work hours will be 1-2 hours longer during seasonal peak boarding periods when pet hotel is fully booked (Thanksgiving through New Year, spring break, summer vacation, occasional holidays through the year).

Duties include:
*Checking on all animals in kennel
*Observing and reporting issues of animal welfare to treatment staff
*Cleaning dog kennels & cat cages (pooper scooping)
*Walking dogs
*Feeding animals
*Deep cleaning and disinfecting dog kennels & cat cages
*Making sure all animals have clean bedding
*Laundering soiled pet bedding
*Some general housekeeping tasks to maintain clean kennel and hospital facility.

Must be reliable and able to work independently. No summer-only applicants, please.
